Thank you for coming into my life and giving me joy,
thank you for loving me and receiving my …
Do you think the emptiness of space will ever crumble away?

cake with the apartment

Fall reminds me of you
you said you were doomed
because of your last name
I feel on edge but
I see a dog running and it distracts me
but I look up and its another garbage bag
or a child
our hypothetical neighbors might
snicker at my bathrobe
but we like looking at the stains at the end of
each week
and the surprise watering can
underneath the table
in the shape of an elephant

deleria

Like a spider she crawled in, hungry
She dropped in and out of our life
She wrote fables
She held a tiny mirror up
Some words she knew
And others she made up
